Brian was an adored husband, father, brother and uncle as well as a friend to many.
He had a larger than life character who's determination allowed us to share his life with him longer than expected.
We miss him greatly.
I can't thank the staff enough for the care my dad received the five weeks he was in the hospice. .sadly my dad passed away on the 6th march 2014 the staff made sure it was peaceful and dignified.
Phyllis touched many during her lifetime--family, friends, coworkers, students, hillwalking companions, class & clubmates, neighbors, members of her church and those she touched through charity--each one of us will remember her with love always.
In memory of John.
Greatly Loved and Sadly Missed by Everyone that knew him.
His time in the hospice was short, his depature peaceful and for that we are all so grateful. A strong, honest, practical and independant man till the end he would have approved of any sort of support for the people that care for people that most need care.
Alex Sweeney (Papa) was in every sense of the word a “gentleman”.
He was incredibly gentle and even tempered by nature.
He was also a true man displaying courage and conviction all of his life. In his last two years in particular, he faced up to one devastating illness after another without a moan or a complaint.
Our dad and loving husband of Rosemary was diagnosed with prostate cancer in Sept 2010 and sadly passed away on 3rd Sept 2012. He spent his last few days in the hospice and was very well looked after. The staff were lovely to me, my mum, my brother and my whole family.
In memory of Alexis who was the best Wife, Mother, Gran, Daughter, Sister, Auntie, Godmother and Friend anyone could have ever wished for.
This fund has been set up in memory of Alexis on the first anniversary of her passing.
This Tribute Fund has been set up in memory of Rhona who was cared and looked after by the wonderful staff at the hospice.
The Hospice is one of the most deserving charities that I can think of and does tremendous work,so every donation made in Rhona's name is a fantastic tribute.
This page is in honour of our mother. Alma passed away on the 21st October 2011 after a battle with lung cancer. We would like to pay our thanks and respect to all staff within the hospice where our mum received the best of care and without which we could not have managed.
I have set this page up in honour of my Mum Rebecca Donaghy & my brother Gary Curl, who spent their last days in the hospice.
I can't thank all the staff enough for the fantastic care given to both of them and for the support given to all the family throughout both sad times.
Mrs Jane Collins sadly passed away aged 65 on 26th September 2009 after a short battle with Cancer. Jane, known to all as Jean, has been survived by Thomas (husband), Mandy (daughter), Scott (son) and Melissa her beloved Grandaughter. Her family was the most important part of her life, something we all benefited from throughout our lives.
A dear and much loved 'cyber friend'. Known to many as McLiz, her chosen forum name, firstly on the imag-e-nation craft forum and more recently on the Crafters Reunited forum. Some of us had the honour and privilege of meeting her in real life. Many didn't but still came to know her as the kind, caring and loving person that she was.
Mum's battle with cancer was truly inspirational. She showed everyone just how determined she was and that cancer wasn't going to hold her back. From her diagnosis in April 2009 until she passed away in March 2010, the strength that mum had was amazing.
In tribute to my wife Denise, who fought her illness with great dignity and courage. May she continue to be an inspiration to all those who knew and loved her.
