Andrew Gordon Hurst

1941 - 2014

Andrew Hurst was born in Glasgow on March 18, 1941. A brave and courageous man to the end. Memories never die.
George was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His happiest days were spent at the speedway, junior football matches and on his hoildays. He loved his Saturday nights out at a show, out for dinner or heading to the railway club.
This site is a tribute to Elaine. She is much loved and will always be remembered.
Our dad and loving husband of Tilda was diagnosed with colon cancer and spent his last couple of weeks in the hospice. He died on the 5th July 2012. He would have loved to have known that donations are being made to the hospice on his behalf. The hospice made his last days as comfortable as they could.

Evelyn Ferry

1943 - 2016

This site is a tribute to Evelyn Ferry, who was born in Dunfanaghy, Co. Donegal, Ireland on September 04, 1943. She is much loved and will always be remembered.
My husband Alasdair passed away on 10th March 2013 aged 56 (too soon). He was looked after by the hospice for the last two days and we are so glad we got him there in time. We want to remember him peacefully and with dignity.
Our wonderful mum, Tess Smyth, was diagnosed with lung cancer on the 19th August 2009. We didn't realise that day that we would only have 110 more days with her, but we made sure we crammed in 20 years of love and devotion and savoured every precious day with her.
Welcome to this Tribute website set up in memory of my beautiful sister Maureen. We want this to be a place where those of us who knew and loved Maureen, can share their thoughts, memories and photos of your times spent with Maureen. You can also use this website to donate to the Hospice funds.
A loving wife, mum, gran & sister, sadly missed by all. Gone but not forgotten. Liz attended the hospice as a day patient, and made many friends during her time there. As a family, we are very grateful to the hospice for the support given to Liz during her illness, and also to us in the time since she passed away.
Bridie was a wonderful person who is sorely missed. Her infectious smile and positive attitude was an example to us all.
This is a tribute to our ma Nan Mullan, who died peacefully at the hospice on the 13th March 2011. All of us are most grateful for the care, attention and kindness shown to her. This is our way of saying thank you for making a very difficult time easier for us all. Brenda, Pauline, Frank, Yvonne, Stephen, Graeme and Kenneth.
