My husband Alasdair passed away on 10th March 2013 aged 56 (too soon). He was looked after by the hospice for the last two days and we are so glad we got him there in time. We want to remember him peacefully and with dignity.
This site is a tribute to Alastair (Ally) . He is much loved and will always be remembered.
I am setting up this page for my lovely Alex as he was such a lovely caring man I love him dearly he was taken from us to soon and before he had died on the 17th June 2010 he set up a fundraising gig he set the date the 21st August 2010 he gave it a name The Big Love Music Night he spoke to all the bandmembers all he had played with over the ye...
This tribute was set up by Margaret Bissett in memory of her loving mum and dad.
Alex Sweeney (Papa) was in every sense of the word a “gentleman”.
He was incredibly gentle and even tempered by nature.
He was also a true man displaying courage and conviction all of his life. In his last two years in particular, he faced up to one devastating illness after another without a moan or a complaint.
Alex Weinman (father)sadly passed away on the 15th February 2014 in the Victoria infirmary after a long illness. Alex was diagnosed with prostate & bone cancer in March 2012. Special thanks go to the hospice and especially day care services who provided Alex with both physical and emotional support throughout this period.
In memory of Alexis who was the best Wife, Mother, Gran, Daughter, Sister, Auntie, Godmother and Friend anyone could have ever wished for.
This fund has been set up in memory of Alexis on the first anniversary of her passing.
